Missha Creamy Green Tea Latte Cleansing Foam Review

Daily facial cleansing is essential to maintaining healthy, fresh-looking skin and thus, I started to look for the best facial washes. My skin type is oily and I do easily break out if I get lenient in taking care of my skin. One day, I began to browse through the internet a good facial cleanser. I wanted something that can both offer my skin some nutrition and can thoroughly clean it.

I stumbled upon Missha's Creamy Green Tea Latte Cleansing Foam. It is made with milk and green tea.
It is packaged in an elegant way with subtle gold design which will make you feel a little Princess-y ^__^

I got the Green Tea variant as I am a big fan of it. This variant is known to be good for oily skin as well. It contains 516mg of Green tea and an abundance of nutrition coming from milk. Minerals, protein and fat found in milk can moisturize and soothe our skin.

This is how it looks like. It is a green-tinged cleansing foam which turns into a creamy lather.

Missha's Creamy Latte has 3 variants:

GREEN TEA - provides abundant nutrition and controls the excessive secretion of sebum and oil to refresh the skin.

STRAWBERRY - provides abundant nutrition and brightens the skin. Contains vitamin C that brightens and revitalizes the skin.

CHOCOLATE - provides abundant nutrition which prevents skin aging and loss of vitality. Contains polyphenol that revitalizes the skin.

PROS:
*deeply cleanses your skin
*leaves your skin refreshed without overdrying it
*very cute packaging
*the prices is reasonable(maybe because I'm buying mine straight from Korea, I can get it at P280 depending on the sale season.)

CONS:
*cannot fully remove makeup in one wash

VERDICT:
I love it! I'll rate it a 4/5

  6. I think Green tea would be best for me. My face is like yours, I fall under the oily category even though I wasn't this way before.

  7. It looks like a very big tube! I don't really like facial with big tube as it takes really long for me to finish one of them and I can't go on to try other stuff

  8. Amazing beauty and facial products for women. I think, this is another good cleansing lotion with tea latte element.

  9. I've never heard of the brand and looking at the photo, it seems too creamy? Is it quite sticky? Just wondering. Anyway, if the purpose of this facial cream is to cleanse, then you said it does not fully remove make up in one wash, do you think it serves its purpose to deserve the 4/5 rating?

    1. it's creamy and it lathers to a rich foam and not sticky at all. i rated this as 4/5 because it cleansed my skin well. make up, especially those with high spf or even just sunblock cant be fully washed away by just using a water-based cleanser. i always double cleanse. i use cleansing oil to remove make up.

  10. I actually love Missha especially the BB creams. I didn't know they had these milk based cleansers, they look like they smell yummy!

  11. We shouldn't rely on just a foam cleanser to remove make up in the first place and it doesn't seem like this product is marketed as a MU remover? Kind of unfair to penalize it because it doesn't remove MU in one wash, I feel.....

    1. sorry about that, well yes, it's not really intended to remove make up but i was hoping it will actually. maybe i have set my standards a little bit higher. i'm easy to please normally. :D

  12. I have actually heard how good green tea can be for your skin, but I have never tried it. I am sad to say I am not fond of the beverage, but who knows maybe in a skin care item it would be okay?

  13. Aside from being effective on the skin, these products would really have a nice scent. That's a really good deal.

  16. I have once used Korean brand wash. But it did not suit my skin type. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

  18. You have very nice skin so it's hard to tell. But I love the name of the product and if it works, great!

    TumugonBurahin
  19. Haha sorry, I was smiling when I read the name. Does it really sound like a drink? Anyway, I think it's a great beauty product. Judging from the picture, it shows your fair and glossy skin. Seems so fresh and smooth. :D
