Nature Republic The First Essence Review

What is an essence?

An essence is a concentrated formula that specifically targets wrinkles, fine lines, and dull and uneven skin tones. Korean essences typically contain an active ingredient that optimizes your skin's natural cell turnover rate and with regular use you will notice that your skin is more smoother and brighter.

This is a really important skincare product as it is responsible in increasing the rate of skin regeneration and it treats your skin in a cellular level.

It is very important that you choose the best essence for you. I have been loving fermented essences as it contains probiotics which just doesn't increase cell turnover, furthermore, itcan also help preventing acne.

Nature Republic The First Essence is very similar to SK II Essence as it is also a fermented essence which claims to brighten, moisturize, even out skin tone and maintain a clear complexion

This is the list of the main ingredients and what it does. It actually has the full list of ingredients on the packaging however, I have thrown away mine before. It is actually very wholesome and it has 90% fermented yeast which is absolutely GREAT! The ingredients are good coming from fermented yeast and some herbs which altogether helps the skin to recover and maintain health.

The Packaging:

Just like other essences, it is contained in a frosted glass. I'm not sure what the reason is but maybe it has to do in maintaining the product's effectiveness.

The Product:

It is very light and watery and not sticky at all.

Once applied, it is easily absorbed and it is actually very moisturizing. The brightening effect is also immediate, maybe because of the moisture that it gives to your skin. It is very refreshing and it doesn't sting your skin.

VERDICT:

Pros:
-brightening
-moisturizing
-very light on the skin
-mildly scented
-after a long use, skin is smoother and more even

Cons:
The packaging is a little bit heavy other than that I can't think of anything wrong with it.
Honestly, it will benefit everyone. I have oily skin but yet I still use it to manage oil-moisture balance for a healthier skin.

Missha Creamy Latte Strawberry Cleansing Foam Review

Cleansing is very important to maintain a clear complexion. Facial cleansers must have the right pH balance and the ingredients must be wholesome in order not to strip away essential lipids from our skin which acts as a barrier.

On my previous post, I have featured Missha's Creamy Latte in Green tea. Today, I will be reviewing another one from it's line because I really love how it cleans my skin without leaving a tight feeling.

Packaging:

The packaging is in a white tube with a very elegant design. This tube contains 172ml of facial cleanser and it's really going to go a long way

The product:

It is a white foaming cleanser with a tinge of pink. It actually is very pretty. It makes me feel like I'm a princess because it kind of shimmers under the light.

What do I think about it?

It claims to brighten your skin tone because it is high in Vitamin C which it really delivered. I noticed that my skin has gone brighter. I usually use this product at night because I don't want to leave my skin sensitive to the sun. This facial cleanser is mild but sometimes, it also leaves my skin a little red. If I were to compare this to it's Green tea variant, I would really pick this for it's brightening effect. In terms of oil control, I think it's pretty much the same as with it's green tea variant which claims to be better for oily skin. Overall, I really like this facial cleanser because it deeply cleanses my skin without having the feeling of my skin tightening up which is not good.

Verdict:

PROS:

-smells really good
-cleanses well
-doesn't dry out my skin
-brightens my skin up
-easy to wash off
-very affordable

CONS:

I honestly can't think of anything bad about this product except that it's hard to find outside Korea.
Being a facial cleanser, it cannpt remove make up thoroughly that's why I think we should be using a cleansing oil if make up is worn first.

5/5

Banila Co. CC it Radiant CC in Melting Pact in Natural Beige

Hello there again lovelies! As I have mentioned on my previous blog post, my love for Banila Co.'s CC cream is eternal that I bought the CC Melting Pact as well.

What is it?
It's Banila Co.'s CC Melting pact. It has the perfect ratio of make up. It contains 28% CC cream and 15% powder. It is the perfect hybrid balance of moisture and powder. Having a good moisture balance will result to lesser sebum production and it ca also brighten up the skin tone.

The Packaging:

I love it! It's very simple and classy.

On its back, it contains some information in Korean and what shade is it. Mine is Natural Beige.

It also contains a full size mirror which is really good. You no longer need to carry another one.
My sponge is a little bit tainted because I use it very often especially on a hot day.

This is how it looks like. It's really cream in a pact! <3

Product description:

Base for complexion care with skin care and makeup into one. Moisture care creates stable and natural skin tone. Takes care of pore and uneven skin to create smooth and soft skin texture. Eco herb water complex increases skin transparent degree to create bright and gorgeous skin.

What do I think about it?

It is a really great product! It is very light with a decent coverage. I would say it has a light to medium coverage. It is very buildable and what I like most about it is that it leaves a dewy finish. It's really great because it can be a little stickyon your face but it didn't break me out. I love how moisturizing it can be and yes, the brightening effect is really visible!

This is how it looks like on my face. The first pic is my bare skin. The second one is with Banila Co.'s CC cream. Notice that I still have some redness on my skin but it's brighter and the picture on the right hand side is with Banila Co's CC Melting Pact. It's now significantly brighter and it did cover some of the redness.

Verdict:

Pros:
-moisturizng
-brightening
-didn't break me out
-very light
-it is unscented
-it lasts for a long time
-very easy to use

Cons:
-hard to find outside Korea
-a little expensive
-it can get cakey if you always rub your face
